My girl friend, her sister, and I found this card among a bunch of shredded wrapping paper on Christmas Eve at the 96th St. subway station. The card had clearly been crumpled and discarded, but the gift was gone.
I found this in my high school. Pretty self-explanatory.
Leaving a subway station one evening, I was drawn to this find on the staircase. It was at the corner of Broad Street and Ellsworth. The penmanship outshines the spelling, but Doris is happy and that’s all that matters.
This was found and given to me by someone with whom I shared common space at the time. We used to walk a lot in those days, in the cold and the snow and broken beer bottles.
