Evone’s XMAS List

I was in a thrift store when I found this (though the stationary is from Amarillo, Texas). It’s kind of a random list. She lists cologne, bath powder, night gowns and the phone in her bedroom, but then random Willie Nelson 8-track tapes are mentioned, as well as a fountain for the back yard. Kinky … Continued

My Friend Frosty

I found this picture inside a hot pink envelope outside my friend’s house. We were having band practice and I was carrying a big amp up to the house- I noticed it because it was so bright with the sun shining on it.

Cockney Christmas Wishes

This blew into my feet on Walton Street in Oxford, England, in mid-June, which is an odd time of year to see a wayward letter to Santa. What I like about it is I can only make out half of what this kid has written, because I’m an American Midwesterner and this is proper colloquial … Continued

The Best Wish Ever

This letter to Santa was found in the street near our home.

A Holiday List

I found this Christmas list on the floor of local independent toy store. On the back was a list for Dad that consisted of knights, car wash supplies, music/CDs — a very interesting wish list of items.

Checking It Twice

I was hauling groceries back to my car I stepped on someone else’s shopping list. Flatly honest sentiment is a rare thing in December. I’ll sneak through the holidays with this stranger’s snit line in my pocket.

Transition Period

I’m a librarian here in St. Paul. While going through some older books on our shelves, I found this gem. We immediately thought to share with Found! Love the part about Dale not getting any presents for Christmas.
