White Box Truck
I was walking the dog in a park behind our home and found this card on the ground. Very simple, yet scary in its own right: a drawing of the box truck suspected in the sniper shooting, and the tip line phone number.
Angry House
Found this in the parking garage of my building. Apparently the thing making the house angry is the well-manicured bed of tulips. Hopefully the caring apple cures what ails it, because there’s no consoling the artist who discovered too late what the perfect ‘A’ word is.

I was heading from the art museum to a bar a few blocks away; on the sidewalk, I saw this tiny, soaking wet, green, spiral-bound notebook sitting on a little stone in someone’s front yard.

Letter from Mom
I bought an old metal desk at a yard sale. It was pretty rusty so we turned it upside down and all around to paint it. This allowed a letter that had been stuck in the back panel to fall out. A taste of an old desk’s history.
