From My Levatoranz

No idea what a Levatoranz or a Bulbospongiosus are, but it does seem that “J” really loves Matthew. This was found in a book outside at The Strand bookstore in New York City in the $1 books section.

Coppertone

Found this tucked into a bench in Washington Square Park. I was gnashing on a dosa from the cart man, when I felt a little item on my seat. Too bad I don’t qualify.

Hard Day’s Work

This is a photo that somehow slipped into my storage locker at the Manhattan Mini Storage on Van Dam St. How unhappy does the “driver” look? I’m trying to determine where they are (West Indies?) and how old it is (late 80′s?) – but the blue truck in the background seems newer, and I’m pretty … Continued

The Luckiest Man In The East Village

92nd Floor

I found this on September 11th, 2001.

Hold It Down

This one was found in a rather greasy plastic bag in a gutter in the East Village.

This Job

I found this post-it note stuck inside the back cover of a library book at the mid-Manhattan library. It doesn’t seem related to the book, “As She Climbed Across the Table”, by Jonathan Lethem.

Here Is a Larger Illustration

Found this in a Kinko’s in Manhattan not too long ago. I think it’s one of the most hilarious things ever.

Gun Control

I picked a little pad up off the street in the East Village on Saturday — the day after the horrible school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut — and opened to find this page. Not entirely sure of the message, but I’m going to just hope it’s in support of gun control, and against killing drugged … Continued
