I found this in the middle of the sidewalk one day when I had to walk everywhere because my car was broken down. I like it because it reminds me of what it’s like to be a real little kid, totally at the mercy of all the adults around you. I also like that there seems to be a bit of self-reassurance present with the series of “A+” ‘s across the top.

This child’s drawing was put through the mail slot in my front door. Mail usually comes to the mailbox down the road by my house, so this was hand delivered by someone who thought I needed it. A few days ago was a holiday called Laskiaissunnuntai, which is the beginning of Lent but is really an excuse for people to eat buns filled with whipped cream or jam and go tobogganing.
