Gonna Be a Great Summer

Sunday afternoon, June 5, I was at Hines Park in Northville (Michigan) with some running buddies. I was crossing a dirt parking lot when I looked down and saw a folded piece of paper pressed into the dirt. I picked it up and saw it was marked “confidential: property of Miranda, Alex, Emily, and Rachel.” … Continued

Heart Means I Extremely Want

This is a list found in a Meijers (to non-Michiganders it’s a pre-Wal-Mart 24 hr fix-your-car-and-a-dinner retail powerhouse) parking lot on Black Friday.

I Want My Unicorn

Found outside of a school in far East Portland as I was walking my dog, must have been earlier that day, because it hadn’t been rained on yet.

School Ain’t Fun

Taped inside a very nice public bathroom in my very nice dorm.

Good Ol’ Boy

Found this while poking around an abandoned motel off of US 19 just south of Perry, Florida. It was in a room filled chest-high with crap like old Parade magazines with Joe Pesci on the cover, rusted cans and rotting, puka shell chandeliers (I kid you not).

Harry Potter Lover

At the time of this find I had one Harry Potter bumper sticker and the Hogwarts crest on my car.

Cute Boy

This was folded, on the floor, beside a recycling bin in a classroom. I miss passing notes.

Hit My Knees

This note was found by a disabled client of mine on the ground. He said, “Your girlfriend left this for you,” then handed it to me.

Waited to Kiss You

Found this in the parking lot after an art show, stuffed it in my car, found it again when cleaning it up. Double-find!

70 Cards and Envelopes

Just a little note that brightened my day when I found it while moving our office. I have no idea who wrote it or to whom it was addressed (or even what it was about!).
