I found this letter while straightening up the waiting room at a children’s facility. I look at all of the patients we saw that day to see if I could find their name so we could return the letter, but we couldn’t find it. It was too cute to throw away!

FOUND by McKenah in a high school cafeteria

My friend and I were exiting our school cafeteria when we saw a note flutter to the ground. We didn’t get a chance to see who dropped it but whoever it was, she was chatting with the principle. My friend scooped it up and unfolded it quickly. we read it and started dying laughing and then argued over who could keep it.

FOUND by Sun Runner in the parking lot near Hines Park, Northville, Michigan

Sunday afternoon, June 5, I was at Hines Park in Northville (Michigan) with some running buddies. I was crossing a dirt parking lot when I looked down and saw a folded piece of paper pressed into the dirt. I picked it up and saw it was marked “confidential: property of Miranda, Alex, Emily, and Rachel.” I unfolded it and, well, I have rarely laughed so hard in my life. The sad part is, this note was lost before anything got checked off.

Somewhere out there, in southeast Michigan, four friends are about to have a great summer.
