This tiny post-it note caught my eye as a flash of yellow amidst the bright green grass. I was struck by how neat the handwriting was– almost looks like a font! I am ever curious what the chicken’s motivation would be to commit a heinous act and to which book they were referring.

This sheet of paper was folded into a tiny square, lying in the parking lot of the bank where I work. I opened it up to make sure it didn’t contain any personal info like account numbers or whatever, and instead I discovered this note.
Whilst cleaning up where I work I stumbled upon this gem of a love letter. I’ve been trying to find Sam ever since but alas to no avail. I like to think he had already received this letter and rushed into the arms of his new love so fast that he dropped the letter.

I was walking in West Philadelphia when I found a bunch of books on the street to be disposed of. They were old, mostly from the 70′s, so I was intrigued. I picked up two and when I got home to look at them this fell out. The name of the book it fell out of is “Notes on Love and Courage” by Hugh Prather, published in 1977.
