Dr. Master Fire Bender

Found by Tony in Acadia National Park, Acadia, Maine

I was exhausted from driving all night from Vermont to Maine hoping to nab a campsite. Hadn’t brought any firewood as I wanted to try to get a place to rest my weary bones first. I did secure a site and put up my tent, which took longer than usual because of my tiredness. As I was getting ready to head out and buy firewood, I look on the picnic table and see this note. It made me laugh and warmed me. I want to send out a big thank you to the person who left this note and the wood.

Love the note! It has long been the custom of me and my camping friends to leave the leftover firewood for the next camper.

Lends a whole new meaning to the phrase “getting wood”. (Snicker, snicker!)

I hope that Dr. Master Firebender left the wood and the artistic note with the specific goal of getting into Found Magazine.. that way we can all be sure that Dr. Master WILL see this public Thank You.

The note was meant to be used as kindling.
