1st Camp Crush

I went to pick my son up from a week of overnight summer camp. As we walked the grounds kids and their patent joyously greeting one another all smiles, and talking about three weeks adventures. Before departing my son wanted to take me to the lake to show me the pontoon they got to jump out of. As we approached the gate a crumpled up piece of white paper stuck out like a sore thumb against the earth-colored backdrop. Not one to just let litter lie I picked it up. To my surprise, I found this gem, a letter to a summer camp crush. Apparently, the young recipient of the letter was not interested, crumpling the note, tossing it aside before leaving camp.
