I was working at a theater camp in the old Spring Hill high school. Right before throwing some food away I noticed some papers with scribbled writing like this all over it. This looks like a young child’s handwriting, but I’m not sure if one of the kids at the camp did it or not.

I found this letter in the parking lot of the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland, OR. The crossing out of the correct spelling of “basis” to write “baces” makes this heartfelt letter that much more sad.

In the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago there is a creepy used hotel furniture store, like Motel 6 stuff. I went there with some friends to explore and came across this note sitting in an open nightstand drawer. I’ve carried it with me for years since then, for luck I suppose.

I have absolutely no idea who this man is. His photo was in a stack of books I bought from a thrift store in Naples, Florida. He looks like a very fun and happy guy. I typically buy true crime or mystery books so it was weird to find this happy clown inside. I’ve kept him over 10 years now.
