Sounds like the writer was thinking of Proverbs 27:6 instead of Psalm 27. It says:
Wounds from a friend can be trusted,
but an enemy multiplies kisses.
So if your friend tells you “you’re stinky”, maybe it’s because your enemies won’t, and you need to know.
haha! For some reason I don’t remember seeing this one on the Vintage Site, but it makes me long for the good old days of nothing better to do than hang out at Found all day. xoxo
