Found by Val in Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Discovered behind the furnace, in the basement of a house I once lived in.

The nun on the far Right has just made her Solemn Profession, that’s why she’s wearing a wreath of roses. If it had been her Clothing (admission to the novitiate) she’d be wearing a wedding dress, given the age of the photo. By the habit I would venture to guess they’re Benedictines.
When nuns died they were also crowned with roses while the body was laid out.
