It’s not too often that we get enough snow to cover the ground, but when we do, work and school are cancelled for most people. After two days of being confined to the house, I took my dog for a walk and spotted a folded up piece of paper sticking out the snow. I could see some pencil sketches, but the paper was so wet and transparent, it started to tear as I tried to unfold. After taking it home to dry out, I opened up the paper to reveal a sketch of a friendly cake (complete with eyes and mouth) and a special birthday message. Coincidentally, my birthday was almost exactly a week ago. The only thing I can’t figure out is the writing on the right, “Ch— Cake.” It has me absolutely stumped. Any good guesses?
