This grabbed onto the bottom of my left shoe June 6th along the route from the food market to the pedestrian overpass that spans the Emeryville Amtrak lines. I’m speculating that this was a down-on-his-luck puppeteer brainstorming how to turn things around for himself.
I found this a couple of years ago in my high school Chemistry class folded up and shoved under the leg of a wobbly table. A nice place for the paddle thumbs to hide.

I found this on the side of the road in Astoria, Queens. I’m guessing someone was angry with the winner because the photo is punctured right through his face. I hang it near my desk as motivation.
