Christmas Rapping

Found this in the sleeve of a record I bought from a local thrift store. The record was the single “In the Spirit” by Twilight 22, an 80′s rap song with a Christmas theme.

Stood Up

I found this on my way home in a bingo hall parking lot at about 3am at the tail end of a heat wave in mid-July. Kind of chuckled at her choosing rhyme to sarcastically express her displeasure with being forgotten. And who is the freak?

Sexual Math

Found this piece of song writing gold on the way home from the bar one night.  Walking near NW 22nd and Glisan.

Gangsta Rap. Doughboy Style

My boyfriend and I found this during a very suburban morning walk in front of a white house complete with white picket fence and Range Rover … the afternoon hangout for corduroy-clad skaters dreaming of life on the cell block.

Freestyle/Moe Phoned

I found this note in a snow bank outside my friend’s apartment building. This obviously needs to be read by someone other than myself!

Lovesick Bus Stop Rap

Found this great little rap “love song” stuck into a bus stop bench on Front Street.

Achieve Bliss

Found this poem/rap while walking my dog.

Drop Script

Found this in the street by my apartment complex while walking back from the laundry room.

Tyler Is Sweet

After locker clean-out at school, I found a binder in the trash. In the clear display cover was inserted this drawing of Tyler. In the insert on the back was this sweet kitten picture, a valentine from a girl.
