Cheek, Kiss, Cheek, Kiss

I found this photo while on a date with my boyfriend– it was on a bench outside of a bookstore. He broke up with me later that night. I hope their love lasts longer than ours.

WANTED!

Found at the Lavaca St. Bar in downtown Austin near midnight on July 4th, 2009. The bar has a photo booth where patrons can get in and take silly photos, this was sitting on a table next to the photo booth.

Eye to Eye

I found this old Polaroid in a book I bought at a used book sale. It was stuck between pages 82 and 83 of Selected Poems by Margaret Atwood.

Say Cheeeese

As a teen in the early 1970s, I found this engaging portrait taped to the front of a stand-alone photo booth at the Kmart. We lived about an hour from La Crosse, so I knew it was unlikely that I would ever actually cross paths with these girls.

BFFS

Cowboy Eyes

Found on a pay phone next to a photo booth in the front of a Kmart.

No Eyes

I found this outside a photo-me booth in Brighton back in 1993. He’s now with me out here in the desert in Dubai. I like how he looks down to his left in the second shot. Is he checking the operating instructions? Obviously all appeared well because he resumed his pose for the last two … Continued

The Trio

Old passport-style photos found on a small path leading to a river. I would love to know who these people are now.
