FOUND by Mark Teeple on a sidewalk table outside Moriarty’s Pub, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Cold rainy night, sampling local brews in Center City Philadelphia. Had to leave the pub several times to reload parking meter, each time I walk out and into the pub, I noticed this photo just laying on the patio table on the sidewalk. The wind never blew it away and it caught my eye several times. I remembered the FOUND site and decided to pick up the photo and submit it.
FOUND by Julian Silva in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
I was walking in West Philadelphia when I found a bunch of books on the street to be disposed of. They were old, mostly from the 70′s, so I was intrigued. I picked up two and when I got home to look at them this fell out. The name of the book it fell out of is “Notes on Love and Courage” by Hugh Prather, published in 1977.
I found this way back in 2006, when I was living in the Rittenhouse Sq. area of Philly. It was on the sidewalk in front of my apartment building, and I stood there looking around for any potentially hazardous spots. There were none. I also spent a lot of time trying to decipher the word before ‘sidewalk’ in the first line. Covered? Covened? Couonod? I know you were pissed and your ankle was probably killing you, but c’mon guy, help us out here.
