The back of this picture sadly reads, “The last photo of Barney before his death.” If you’re wondering, I don’t think Barney actually had an accident on the slide. I think he lived a long life and died of old age since he’s in several photos across the years. What a good ol’ wiener dog.
I work at a pool and at the end of the day I walk around and pick up trash. Today I spotted this Valentine underneath the stairs. I hope Drew is okay about losing Missy. For some reason this touched my heart.
I found this on the street during a lunch break from work over 10 years ago. Since then, I’ve proudly displayed it on my cubicle walls of each job I’ve had since then, and it never fails to disturb my co-workers. I’ve long been intrigued why the writer stored the chicken carcasses for his neighbor instead of disposing of them; in any case, he seems way more indignant about that than about the dog killing them in the first place.
Found this stapled to a telephone pole outside a Starbucks. I rarely see missing dog posters here so I stopped to read it. First, the ‘ascending’ dog caught my attention, then the realization Joey would never be found. Made me sad and happy all at the same time.
