My friend and I had just finished a swim meet and we were about ready to get into her car and drive home. We saw a friend in the park and walked over to chat. As we were talking and roaming I looked down and saw a folded up piece of paper.
I found this on a college classroom floor. I think it is the creative contraction of “kind of” that amuses me the most.
I found this note in a book from the library, presumably, Julie was using it as a bookmark and lost it. Warmed my heart. I took the note back to the library in hopes it would be reunited with Julie.

I found this note on day in my classroom after the kids left. I was initially sad to hear that somebody had a rough morning and then i realized that some of the kids hadn’t been on task the entire time during the period dedicated to silent sustained reading.
Awkward.
