I found this Valentine dangling from a deflated balloon, tangled in the branches of a tree outside of my office building. It was an icy day the week before Valentine’s Day.
Found this in the communal laundry room at my apartment complex. Oddly enough I have a friend that goes by Bubba that was coming by for a few beers later that same day. I’m not sure he was as enthralled as I was with my first find. Enjoy!
This note was folded in neat little quarters, with “To: Eric” written on the outside front and back. Even with the careful labeling, it got lost in a Metro station. She sounds so wistful … hope she and Eric had time for more than just texts!

This poster appeared on a pole outside my house one night. There were no others like it in the neighborhood, or posted at any stores nearby. I can’t imagine how someone lost a cat pulling a wagon with balloons.
When I was walking to work, I cut through the park. The letter was a little wet.
I found this love letter lying on the sidewalk, face up, staring at me as I walked by. I wish I knew how to get it to it’s rightful owner – it probably fell out of someone’s door.
