Fall in Indiana

I found a strip of photo film negatives several months back and had been carrying them around in my purse until today, when I decided to scan them and see what they were. Anything to avoid work. It was four pictures taken on Halloween (my guess).

Halloween 1981

When you live in a neighborhood that is always under construction, you find that people will use the construction dumpsters for their own stuff. I found this in a box of photos along with all sorts of personal stuff. Most of it looks as if it was dumped after cleaning out the attic.

Monster Find

I’ve carried this one around for years.

Dean for America

Found this in the parking lot of a local movie theater. Howard Dean, #1…on the keys.

Wolfman

I found this at the Salvation Army near Junction and Michigan Avenues. Life is a charming thing.

Me and the Joker

I found this picture in a computer lab in the library at Ohio University during finals week.

Riding with Chuck E. Cheese

Found inside a shopping cart at the Trader Joe’s. “Perhaps you’re right, Chuck. You should drive…”

Flying Monkey

I found this gem face down in a classroom at the UA and was pretty terrified when I flipped it over. Those flying monkeys always gave me nightmares when I was little.

Flower Face

I was playing on the swings with some friends late at night when I found this flower laying on an elementary school playground.

The Black Ace

I always got a kick out of this one. Found at the back of an old school text of Twelfth Night. Nice to know kids wasted time doodling back then, just like we do now.
