“Pony”

I found this tacked to a cork board in a random university building. It is by far the strangest pony I have ever seen. No face, two legs and a torso that looks like a deformed squash? This pony has some problems.

Giddyup

I found two photos inside a photo album at the thrift store. Both are strangely matte (not glossy) so they were probably printed off somebody’s computer.

Push Comes to Shove

Discovered within the pages of a book at a bookstore in 1990. A handwritten note on the back reads: Bob – me – Lonesome Sierra Vista April 1952.

Boy on Horse

Found in a dark corner of my shack/dirt pile/garage.

Knight & Demon

I found this rather peculiar drawing on the bus in Manchester. The artist clearly put a lot of effort in, since paint, marker, and pencil were all used in its creation.

Bad Horse

Found on Eça de Queiroz street.

Horse Shadow Well

I found this photo in 1977 in San Francisco when I was an art school dropout trying to scrape by. I loved the photo from the get go and have had it ever since. In fact it has been in a frame on my wall for many years and now I pass it on.

Scruffy The Space Horse

Whilst on a trip around a toy museum, I found this. Evidently it’s a drawing of a possible toy design, one which would make the inventor millions, as it is pure genius. Scruffy has become something of a legend to my friends.
