I’ve been hoping to find something like this since I first read FOUND in a Madison bar many years ago. I think the letter speaks for itself, and I hope it repays some of the chuckles I’ve had from this site over the years.

I found this letter in an antique desk I bought at a thrift store a year and a half ago. I am guessing the author is an elderly woman who has lost her independence and freedom and is upset about it. I hope she’s alive and well, but I suspect that her belongings were donated to the thrift store after her passing.

FOUND by Angel in The Philippines

I found this at a corridor in the grade school building of our school. It seems to be a draft for a drawing for Christian Living class. The fire seems to represent Hell or the Devil. When I looked closely, there was an erased figure of an evil creature.

My five-year-old daughter brought this to me and asked me to read it to her. The neighbors’ girl had given it to her on their bus ride home from school. We’re the only agnostics in our county, it would seem.
