Eye to Eye

I found this old Polaroid in a book I bought at a used book sale. It was stuck between pages 82 and 83 of Selected Poems by Margaret Atwood.

Park Slope Ladies

Found this negative on 7th Street between 4th and 5th Avenues on trash day on a street where many old timers live. Must have been a two-for-one sale on hats and shoes that day the picture was taken! The negative was unusually large, 7mm x 11mm. They sure had cool cameras back in the day.

Puppy Love

Found this on top of a music listening station while shopping at FAO Swartz, in the basement baby section. If UNO loves me, the world is still good.

November 1927

What did this band of mustachioed hooligans just successfully pull off?

Street Scene

I found this photograph in an alley behind a store where I used to work. I can’t tell where the photo was taken, or why there’d be a tank in the street…

Like Hell It’s Yours

I got a fedora in an antique shop and discovered this tucked into the inside.
