It’s an amazing feeling to look into someone else’s life by holding in your hand something they have thrown away or lost. I treasure these items as fragments of true humanity. In finding and keeping these things I am helping to keep memories alive.

My friend and I found this tucked in an Ansel Adams photography book at the Goodwill. The message was especially poignant, as we figured Dad must have died for this to reach the donation pile.
I found this written in an old gift book at a thrift store. The book was titled “… And Spring Shall Come.” While I had no interest in the book itself, I had to have it for the inscription, which says so much, yet begs so many questions.
