The back of this picture sadly reads, “The last photo of Barney before his death.” If you’re wondering, I don’t think Barney actually had an accident on the slide. I think he lived a long life and died of old age since he’s in several photos across the years. What a good ol’ wiener dog.

Found this stapled to a telephone pole outside a Starbucks. I rarely see missing dog posters here so I stopped to read it. First, the ‘ascending’ dog caught my attention, then the realization Joey would never be found. Made me sad and happy all at the same time.

Walking home late last night after seeing a concert, we found the sidewalk scattered with these flyers for an upcoming neighborhood dog show. This budding typographer created a flyer filled with tons of enthusiasm! She even figured out how to draw a dog doing a handstand in the form of the letter “H.” I’m sure she is counting on her dog to take several of the prize categories.
