FOUND by Sun Runner in the parking lot near Hines Park, Northville, Michigan
Sunday afternoon, June 5, I was at Hines Park in Northville (Michigan) with some running buddies. I was crossing a dirt parking lot when I looked down and saw a folded piece of paper pressed into the dirt. I picked it up and saw it was marked “confidential: property of Miranda, Alex, Emily, and Rachel.” I unfolded it and, well, I have rarely laughed so hard in my life. The sad part is, this note was lost before anything got checked off.
Somewhere out there, in southeast Michigan, four friends are about to have a great summer.
I found this today as I was getting home from school. I assume it belongs to the little girl who lives across the street. It looks like she has a really busy day planned but is still going to find time to spend with God.
I found this on the door to the break room downstairs. If there really was a bird, and this wasn’t just an uncharacteristically poetic moment for one of the guys in facilities management, that bird would have had to make it through two sets of double doors to get into the break room from outside. Then again, in a Chicago winter, a bird’s gotta be persistent.
