I work at a toy store, and while walking down an aisle this morning I saw this lying on the floor next to our train play table. Upon picking it up, it took me a moment to realize it was an amazing drawing of the Avengers, complete with sound-effect balloons. It made me a bit sad to know that a young kid had lost their drawing, but it totally made my day. It’s hanging in our break room now!
This was sopping wet in the alley behind my home. Dried it out and flattened it for scanning. This can be read on too many levels: a failed job application intelligence test / Freudian positioning of balls-and-bats / boys offering questions and solutions but the girl only a blank question mark / etc.
I found this in the parking lot of Target (700). It was still folded and the wind started to blow it away, so I chased the folded paper to see what was in it, (hoping it would be a check with all kinds of money, lol). When I opened it, I got something much more then money, I felt loved because someone out there loved another so much they made this. And now it’s in my hands. Which is sad because someone lost a peice of their past. Then I started to think about my special someone and how she makes me feel, which I hope never goes away.
I picked up this diary in the children’s section of a thrift store. In the first page of this comic, the raccoon tells the other guy that his lunch is yucky. Apparently, the other guy really knew how to defend his lunch.
I keep my fenced-in yard clean– no tree or plant debris, no broken down satellite dishes or old snowmobiles or toilets turned into planters. I found this one morning- it wasn’t there when I walked the dogs the night before.
