FOUND by Chris Muscavitch in Bloomington, Illinois

I found this while working the returns desk at my job. A woman came in who seemed to be in a rush. In her haste she didn’t notice that this little folded piece of triangular oragami fell out of her bag. Coincidentally, at this time I was in fact reading FOUND Magazine #6 between customers, so when I saw this I snatched it. After she left I unfolded the piece of paper, and well, you can see what I found.

Sexy LOVAH

FOUND by Kristin in Bloomington, Indiana

I work at the Indiana University library, and this is one of many treasures I’ve found in the stacks. It’s a note to Amy from her pretty lady. I looked at it laying on the floor for days, trying to decide whether to leave it in case Amy accidentally dropped it or to claim it for FOUND. Sorry Amy!

I Know My Calculus

FOUND by Kristin in Bloomington, Indiana

I work at the Indiana University library, and this is one of many treasures I’ve found in the stacks. I think some graduate students who work in the carrels upstairs had a bit of a nerdy love connection going on. This piece of paper was folded in half over a lengthy calculus problem; but, there’s so much more than math! I hope they found it with each other!

Least Appropriate Use of Comic Sans

FOUND by Melissa Lorenzen in Bloomington, Indiana

I found this in a IU student lounge and I couldn’t believe they would use Comic Sans for something so serious. I also wondered what the “specific tasks” are that you can do to earn extra cash. And yes, people had taken a few of the tags at the bottom.

Krinkels Sunburst

FOUND by Bettina Urcuioli in Bloomington, Indiana

Spotted two summers ago on the curb outside my apartment near campus. I first thought that it described the symptoms of someone suffering from a strange neurological disease but, then again, it might have been inspired by a drug-induced trip.
