I started a job as a waitress at a hookah bar in Brooklyn and got stuck alone with the Valentine’s Day shift this week. The owner had recently fired the busboy so it was extra crazy for me– so many couples came in!! I think that’s why we only noticed this homemade Valentine under a table at the very end of my shift. The manager was about to toss the card but I asked to keep it. The giver (Murat I think) had clearly taken so much time to make it.
