I wonder if there is a reason for it (outside of convenience, since often the only other choice of what to do with the booger is wipe it on pants or eat it). I might sound like a looney, but is it possible that viruses/bacteria affect our brains and make us do things that spread the germs? There is a mold in the Amazon rain forest that affects ants. It infects their brains and makes them climb to the top of the canopy (usuallt they stay in the bottom layers exclusively).Once at the top, the mold makes their heads explode, spreading the spored across the jungle. It has made me wonder....
