This sign was posted by the loading zone adjacent to the My Pie Pizzeria in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. I assumed the area was designated for use by the restaurant’s delivery drivers. A BMW was present when I found this.

Cleaning and closing up for the night brings many finds, but I’m sure these two were lost without this formal paperwork they left on the table. Subway and good beer brings compromise. BUT, things change, you understand.

The colors in this old Polaroid are surprisingly vivid, and if it wasn’t falling apart at the edges I’d put it on my fridge.

Found this treasure in the parking lot where I work, in which one little girl is explaining to another why they can’t be best friends. Ouch!

I was on holiday in Dorset and visiting the town of Dorchester, a small English town famous as the home of Thomas Hardy, and found this in the street.

The back of this picture sadly reads, “The last photo of Barney before his death.” If you’re wondering, I don’t think Barney actually had an accident on the slide. I think he lived a long life and died of old age since he’s in several photos across the years. What a good ol’ wiener dog.

I found this on my lawn.

I found this old poem in a board game at my parents’ cabin. My parents bought the game many years ago at a yard sale and never before noticed the paper under the game’s contents. The game is the Canadian trivia challenge “for all ages,” Tour de Force.

I found this left at a table in the coffee shop where I work. I just think it is so beautiful and touching, it makes me happy every time I look at it.
