Lovely penmanship, though.

Can you be impeached more than once? Isn't that like being killed twice?

Yes, I called it, you get a recording that this is for the Impeach Clinton organization and that it did successfully impeach Clinton. However, the recording goes on about how you can order materials about the John Birch Society too.

To Flood in ON...yes you can be impeached more than once. Quoted here from Wikipedia:
Impeachment is the first of two stages in a specific process for a legislative body to remove a government official without that official's agreement.
As long as the official remains in office another impeachment can take place.

Thanks, Just! The wiki goes on to read: "It is possible to impeach someone even after the accused has vacated their office in order to disqualify the person from future office or from certain emoluments of their prior office (such as a pension.)," so the writer may get his/her wish.

I'm glad I read the comments, or I would have spent the whole day wondering who William Cleriton was.

yeah you can get impeached for different crimes though. Impeachment is to charge someone in office of high crimes and misdemeanor. But you can't be charged with the same crime twice (double jeopardy)

So after six years they're still hating on Bill... Anyone still feel strongly about George Sr.?... Ronny?... Jimmy?... ... Anyone still hate that bastard Ike?

I'm thinking of leaving some strongly worded tracts against Millard Filmore next time I hit the local IHOP.

Thanks for the laugh, woodmaker! Along those lines, let me share a bumper sticker I saw last fall:

I miss Ike.
Hell, I even miss Harry!
On a red white and blue striped background.

And at the IHOP local to me, about half the customers look as if they could have voted for Millard Filmore.

Does anyone else think that the backslash after the 1 is creepy? That plus the strident cursive writing makes me picture an irate disturbed man sitting at Starbucks writing and rewriting these missives all day...

I think the word "creepy" is thrown around WAY too much on this website.
