FOUND by SMB in Atlanta, Georgia
Found in a 1978 Advanced Dungeons and Dragons book at the Hell's Kitchen Flea Market.

What about jazz hands?

And, a herd of sheep?

And, "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons"?

Maybe (I'm missing something).

I was thinking definitely highschool...clothes for jazz dancing/jazz choir, books to be seen reading to impress others...but then she threw me the curve with that flock of sheep. "Flock," not "herd", actually. Herd of cattle, flock of sheep. Although they are cared for by a shepherd, not a shepflock.

Maybe she's tired of the tinselly world of jazz dance and existentialist fiction, and really just wants to head for James Herriot's hills with a flock of sheep. You better make it a winter jacket and boots, though, hon--it's cold up there, even in summer.

Yes, I've heard of sheep; and I've flocked a few chickens. too.

Flock of sheep, eh? When yhou get tired of jazz choir and the dance classes, you can try out for "A Sound of Music". You'll have a big advantage if you bring your own sheep.

why does that look like larping ?
i dont't think that much of that stuff'd be of much use for that (save maybe the tights and the sheep, depending on the char)
but that was a funny list for a change, when i go shopping the next time, i'll see if i can get some sheep, too

So if it's a flock of sheep and a flock of chickens, what is flocked wallpaper made of?

what do the * mean? why does she/he not know if she/he needs new sneakers? why are tap shoes parenthetical? what is so important about knee? why are all words that start with b and j capitalized except for jacket? what's up with those crazy lower case a's and why alternate between lower and upper case for that letter? why put the dot for the question mark beside instead of underneath?

fascinating scatterbrained eccentric or brain dead (by now) druggie?

If you've watched the Watership Down movie several times, reading the book is almost exactly like the movie.

All Creatures Great and Small is one of my all time favorite books (along with the rest of the series)!
No wonder she wants a flock of sheep. :)

Ha! I, too, loved those books by James Herriot.

This is the most interesting list I've seen in awhile.

However, the most intriguing part is Hell's Kitchen Flea Market. I want to go and check it out!

I also need a blue tronk leotard and more jerons.

Sammy, I had to look up larping too (I used urbandictionary.com). Now it makes sense. I also finally looked up "jazz hands," which has been annoying me for months. Now it annoys me even more.

Now I'm annoyed by a vision of Flargy doing jazz hands in a leotard.

Farmer, any truth to the rumor that you're a pheasant plucker, too?

@Flargy You didn't know what jazz hands are? Do you know what a jazz square is? I'm fascinated...

Also, I think we need to start a petition against those ridiculously creepy american apparel ads.

The first thing that came to mind for me was "Just Jack!" - hopefully the leotarder was studying up for a musical version of anyone of those books or a mashup version of any of them.

Friendly Sire was written by Larry Flynt before he started his own publishing company.

Miss Narnian Nymph, American Apparel ads keep Found free for us. Besides, it's listed on my profile as one of my favorite websites. Some of like to Work It Out.

I just finished reading 1984. I think this person should be reported to the thought police for needing so many suspicious things.

Jazz hands, Jazz square...I learned those (among other cool moves) in a Jazzercise class.
I should say I learned what they are, but can I do them?

No!

Librarian in the woodwork
I'm hoping against hope that this reading list is for fun, not the assigned book list for some class. I know, lotsa' flock with that ever happening.

Then, I knew you guys would all focus on the herd of sheep. I was wondering whether this person got to thinking 'Hey, I'm needing so much woolen stuff, maybe I should just get a herd of sheep and knit my own!' Bright ideas shouldn't die young. But this idea isn't so bright. Despite everything you might think from being at the state fair (or wherever they do this in your part of the country) whipping through the steps from shearing to carding to spinning to weaving or knitting just never happens that quickly unless you're in a state fair competition.

And why are the first and last books marked with asterisks?
