I'm guessing she was really really proud of the shoes rather than her toes. Considering the fact that they seem to be quite trendy (at least to a couple of these commenters) and also they're supposedly from a place as expensive as Nine West. Gotta be the shoes.

chrome toaster in the kitchen is now closed
Perhaps her three year old child took the picture. my 3 year old loves taking pictures, and she's pretty good now, but when she started out, we had lots of pics of feet, ears, tops of heads, the clock...

actually, those look just like shoes i've seen at target.
yo mama - pantyhose are passé, especially with open-toed shoes. besides, her skin-tone is quite lovely.

I've spent a lifetime in unhealthy relationships
My ex husband has a foot fetish. Occassionally when a roll of film would come back from processing, an "accidental" shot like this would be among them.

And Palmer Square, of course, is a world-renowned hub of perverse and creepy activity. The budding photographer probably dropped this picture while bending down to adjust the mirror attached to the top of his shoe.

Being a man with a foot fetish I can tell you straight up that open toed square shoes are ugly as hell, these in the picture particularly, and when you ad them to ugly feet and cankles it really becomes nauseating.. However I will admit to a decent paint job even if she does have honkin big toes. All in all, yuck...
