We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I keep my bulldogs in a large pit. Don't all peoples?
Wow....pit bulls the size of Minotaurs. Don't mess with the Minotaur, man.
But surely if they are Minotaurs they are safe within their mazes...and if you go in, you're on your own.
An odd note to find at work, especially as the writer doesn't seem all that comfortable with English. People are plural: one person, two people.
Do they mean that if there were minature horses, they would be the size of these massive dogs, or do they mean shetland ponies? Or foals, I guess they're kind of mini?
Call the people at www.greenfd.com. They know what to do with pit bulls the size of horses (or just regular horses for that mater).. Yum!
Do you think the note writer is disturbed by the dogs, or that maybe they have puppies and he wants one? Either way the peoples have to be call.
I are already call. There is only one persons. Their dogs is bull. It's the pits.
This whole dang morning is hilarious. And the sun isn't even up yet.
Sarah, there actually are miniature horses. They look similar to Shetland ponies, but aren't. My daughter plays with a miniature horse at the barn where her big sister takes riding lessons.
No more lonely nights waiting by the phone. I'm gettin' me some of them Large Pit BullDogs. Then someone HAS to call me.
Hello? Yes. Why, of course you can come and see them.
An average size miniature horse really isn't very large. A standard size poodle could whup its ass.
You'd have to be a real wuss to be afraid of a dog the size of a miniature horse. They're about the size of a golden retriever.
'Peoples' could be plural. They could be, uh, Mexicans and Scots or something.
Basil, you beat me to the Minotaurs. A Minotaur horse would presumably be like a centaur but with a bull's head? Aargh.
I really wish we could underline words in our comments for emphasis.
CALL BULLDOGS HORSES
I'm thinking this might be a woman, whom is freaking out because the neighbours have big Pit Bulls...if the people are using their Pit Bulls for fighting...then YES, call the Authorities...but if the Pit Bulls are just their pets and aren't doing any harm to themselves or any one....then who the hell cares how big they are!
SHEESH!
Nightingale, I agree! If only we could be trusted with html again! Alas, the only experiment with commenters having html capabilities went horribly awry.
(Brad? Jason? Arthur? any way there could be a failsafe like blogger has, where if the code is messed up, it says "hey, your code's messed up, so your message won't post!"?)
chrome, isn't that called XML?
Does anyone else wonder what A. Ritchie does for a living?
Clover, I assumed A. Ritchie was some kind of fortune teller, what with the crystal ball, and all.
8-)
thinking.. iono. You tell me. I know just enough "html" to underline or strike out words in myspace comments.
haha nightingale, i totally missed that clue. what was i thinking?
Woah, weird! I might be related to the finder. I have family ALL over the state of North Carolina, but mostly in Concord
To O. Ritchie:
I read your comment before I read your name, and I was thinking, "You might be related to the finder because your family lives in North Carolina? I know it's not all that populous, but come on."
O'Ritchie! Didn't we have a wild night one St. Paddy's?
I know a few Ritchies here... do I know you?
I think A. Ritchie works at the post office.
There are giant spiders around here the size of, well, giant spiders.
p.s. Pit bulls are much scarier than giant spiders, IMHO
I agree with Lolita....pit bulls are scary, no matter what their size.
Anyway, I like giant spiders. I stop on the road and take pictures of them.
If they're that big, they probably aren't pit bulls at all, but Mastiff mixes.
Most people aren't able to identify a "pit bull" in a lineup. Test your knowledge:
http://www.pitbullsontheweb.com/petbull/findpi
The peoples? I love the the Internets...
I meant theses (arg!)
Did they mean poodles?
I can't help it.... I heard it in 4th grade, and it's one of my favorite jokes:
"Shoot low, Sheriff!! The're ridin' Shetlands!"
:-)
Oh -- and what DOES the original Ritchie do for a living? Call peoples re: Large Pit BullDogs?
Is Ritchie the Large Pit BullDogs 'Size Police?' And with a (divine) crystal ball??
Perhaps A. Ritchie is a realtor and this note fell off the latest listing. Now Mr. or Ms. Ritchie and the prospective clients will be attacked by bulldogs the size of small horses because they didn't call before coming over to show the house. Darn not-so-sticky notes!
ok I love pit bulls i have 5 kids an dnone of em has even tried to grown or show teeth or anything its all in how u raise em mine are big babies n i hear of more dalmations turning then pitts n hey thats a FIREMENS dog lol
Maybe it's one of those puzzles where the underlined words are the key. It's a secret message... Call Bulldogs Horses. The grammar and syntax are weird enough that it seems possible. I've never heard anyone refer to pit bulls as "pit bull dogs".
Umm, could the word "call" be actually "tall"? referring to these dogs being so large that the people must be large too? just a thought...
(...excitedly...) Staring!! I think you've got it!!
Okay, the answer is "Call Bulldogs Horses" -- BUT -- the NEXT step is -- you've gotta play it backwards!!
"sesroh sgodllub llac".. hmmm...
this one really tickled my funny bone... :)
@ Sarah in capable of thinking of a clever name
Probably not going to see this as this is an older post but there are such things as mini horses, my mother-in-law has about 14 of them. Not ponies, horses.
And this note is messed up.
This made me laugh.
Let's see. I think A. Ritchie is an animal control specialist and someone tried to diguise the passcode for the new speakeasy as a complaint about dogs.
I had a hard time understanding what this person's trying to say. "These people need to be call"? what does that mean?
