Some friends bought a house here in California last summer. We found this in the garage taped to a toilet seat!-- among things left behind by the previous tenants. Enjoy.

We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...

I was completely grossed out by this one. Think about it. Grandpa's face is taped to a toilet seat with his tongue sticking out. What does he want to do when you sit down? Not a mental image I want of an old man. Ugh.

My grandpa used to make funny faces when we would take family pictures. He died 7 years ago, and I think about him everyday.

I don't know you guys, notice how the whole side of his face pulls down, I'm kinda sad for him. He looks like just a poor stroke victim someone who works at a home cruelly dressed up as Santa and then took a picture then taped to the crapper as a joke. Seriously.

I work with people with developmental disabilities. Some people have trouble reading or remembering things, so we post pictures of the person or other items on things in the house to help jog their memory about things like what day to do laundry and where the dishes go. I don't know what the toilet connection is, but perhaps this picture ended up there for the same reason...
He's havin' fun and being silly. He tipped his glasses sideways on purpose to look even more goofy. But it is a bit gross to look at, with the angle and all first thing in the morning like this.

why is the letter dated 1-1-09 but it was added in 2005? Unless the grandpa in the letter is Doc Brown and he used his flux capacitor?!?!
