Dog Luve Cat
FOUND by Jak Kimsey in Hertfordshire, UK
Found at the supermarket where I work, drawn on the back of a primary school's headed paper. For a time I couldn't decide whether the brown was a dog or one of those dreadlocked sheep, y'know?

These inter-species love affairs are what's wrong with society today! I mean, think about the teasing their kids would get in obedience school. ("Woof! Yo mama uses a litter box!!")

So in the UK, are dogs very small, or are cats very large?

I wonder if the kid used a scented marker to color the dog...I miss those Mr. Sketch scented markers (orange was my favorite). For scribbling in the color, that's a pretty good job of staying inside the lines.

Man behind the curtain, are you my brother? every time i ask him (why i keep asking him, i don't know) what kind of dog something is (like i can expect him to know??), he says its a portugese water dog.

It might be one of those dreadlocked dogs -- a Komondor. I used to want one, and yes, I would have named it Marley, 'cause I'm predictable like that.

I always wanted to name a dog Marley...

Then I adopted a cat who was already named Nesta - Bob Marley's middle name, which he was called as a child.

Two pets with rasta themed names seems a bit much, but I'm sure the would lived together in harmony like the ones in this find if I had!

As Alan alluded to, the flames of love seem to have scortched our furry little friends. In fact, if you magnify the find, you can see that Kitty is still smoldering a bit (despite the big smile on her face).

you can tell that the little artist used stencils for the drawings, then put cute little animal faces on the front (even though it appears that the stencil of the doggy is in profile.) cute!

In the UK, particularly Wales, cats can be HUGE compared to their US cohorts. The British Shorthair is known as a "teddybear" because of their size, stockiness and plushy fur.

There are dreadlocked dogs, too--the Hungarian breed, Puli. Their fur naturally forms dreads. Cool. They are also very sweet natured, at least all the ones I've ever met.

Librarian, you crack me up!

The dreadlocked beast is a puli...http://www.prestigepuli.com/images/puli_inse Our puli was great friends with our cat, but alas they were not in love.
