We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I bet the other side of the bed was cold when Jenny woke up. Reminds me of the death cab for cutie song "someday you will be loved"
i think its addressed to kenny. looks like a sorry note for getting drunk and making out with your best friend. or maybe i'm projecting.
We're probably all overthinking it. Kenny/Jenny probably wanted a chocolate doughnut, and all they had was powdered sugar.
It seems to me like an apology for cheating...that was my first impression.
The person is apologizing to Kenny, explaining in a discreet way the mistake they made at the Holiday Inn.
That's just my theory though.
