Bug and Tent

The Volkswagen has "NL" on the back (The Netherlands) and there seems to be someone running into the tent to avoid being pictured?

"SLUG BUG"? I thought it was "Punch Buggy" - quickly followed by "No returns" so you can't be hit back!!! I wonder if there are numerous regional variants?
Somehow the picture has a real atmosphere. It could be a great inspiration for a film noir type mystery novel.
it's a portuguese car... the license plate is portuguese (antique one) not from the Netherlands...
I find it fascinating that there's only ONE chair and ONE table.. camping is not too fun to do alone, I would think. Yet obviously someone snapped this photo.. maybe the person in the tent is an intruder!!

Not a Portugese car. It's an older (pre-EU) Dutch plate -- the code is set up the same as Dutch tags still are now, and the big "NL" country ID tag is rather a dead giveaway.
The person is running into the tent to find the calamine lotion, after realizing she just wiped with poison ivy.
When I get home from work, I'm going to show this Find to my bride-to-be, then give her a punch in the arm before she can fully register what it is. (We play this game all the time, no need to call a domestic violence crisis center for her or anything).
I did it! It took me a few days, but I did it.
Looks like a fun time to me. Dream car, love campin'.
