We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I honestly pine for the days when this was the height of FABULOUS!
It's interesting that this should come up right as they are closing the Stardust down to demolish it and build a new casino
the colour will blind you
but it is for your own good

These are the types of picture which are so great, you almost wish you could return them.

I think of the person who probably brought this precious photo to walmart to make a reprint and is missing it!

A couple of hot dollies out on the town in the menapause years really sums up the flavor of Vegas in the 1960's,it's kind of innocent in a way...Good for them for going!

I just got back from Vegas and all I can say is that I wish people still dressed up to go there.
Went to Vegas for the first time and was SO looking forward to seeing fabulous people like these gals, but everyone was in tshirts and khaki shorts, disappointing. But this brings back happy memories of my granny and her pal, Hester, who dressed up in black and white when they went to Reno to gamble.
Wow. This is the height of fabulous. Makes me remember when I wanted to be women like this....sniff

Wow odd picture to find, i find the weirdest things in wal-mart,people are crazy in newburgh, i find little messeges written by employees on the shelves,dope bags,etc everywhere
My mother wore dresses like these back in the sixties! I thought she was so glamorous.
