Note of Apology
FOUND by M. Filippo in Champaign, Illinois
This note was found on a sidewalk by my roommate. One evening he tracked down this kid in the phone book and spoke with him. Apparently he was being disrespectful to a teacher. Eventually the kid's dad got on the phone and threatened to come to our apartment and teach us a lesson for meddling in their family affairs. He never did.

Why did your roommate track this guy down?? And what did he say that cause the parent to threaten him. Is your roommate a stalker??

whoa
the dad sounds like an asshole, which is probably why the kid is so down on himself for not excelling in some stupid ball game

"one I have not only let you guys down but I have let myself down and the school"? What is two? Or is this one, two and three?
Whatever - Drew sounds like he could use some understanding - I hope he got it.

How you tracked someone down like that without a last name is amazing. Especially since the listing would not be in the child's name.

Why does self-down get a hyphen? People sure are strange, with; their (punctuation) "sometimes?
