Bless There Soul
FOUND by Emma in Atlanta, Georgia
I found this near the scanner in my school newspaper's room. I don't know what context it's in, but I love the misspellings, all those ellipses, and the random trace of someone's hand.
Holly the Homemaker in Toronto

I only see one misspelling..."Bless *there* souls........"

...she *must have* killed herself. (Not "must of".)

What I'm seeing is the traced outline of the top of an extraterrestrial's head with its two wispy forked antennae sticking up.

No wonder she killed herself. What with dead antennae and all those Morse Code "S" letters at the end indicating a deflating soul escaping.

I'm with Schneh. A fat little bird tipped over. Maybe the bird is one of the dead mentioned in the sentence....

Dear Flargy, I just so happen to have several pairs of glittery deely-boppers.. blue, green, gold... left over from the days of yore. Want some? (I have some 3D glasses, too, but only the cheepo paper kind.)

(Oh yeah... and speaking of the days of yore, my only comment for this Find itself was "well, Bless Yore sole, too!")

Tracing of a hand? I'm not seeing that.

Looks like a lady bent forward and a gentlemen's view from behind. (need I clarify more...?)

Okay, enough with the sketch. Anybody have any idea what in the world the text means?

High school poetry? Part of a dramatic reading? Solstice ceremony?

Random babbling???

Ellipsis... ellipses... Aren't I a silly-goose for just having realized that there was a plural spelling?

I wonder how many times I've used "ellipsis" when writing about six or more dots?

Hmm dot-dot-dot

Newspaper rooms need to take lots of notes. I think what we are looking at is "scrap" paper, cut into a little rectangle for people to grab and write on the back of.

The text looks to be some creative writing or english course assignment, cut off.

Ghost in Lost and Found... you so are right, yes much more one can do to help. we have become so self absorbed and selfish and forget about the nice and even little things one can do for another no matter the situation...

definitely a little dead bird (chicken?)

one of my students wrote stories like this all the time. a very cheerful, bright, sociable girl but with this flair for the melodramatic(and lots of common grammar mistakes, like 'must of,' to go around too)

Ok, I read up on the famous koolaid pie and I must say that now I know more about it than I ever wanted to know.

Still, I can imagine froot loops as a garnish--a full day's supply of vitamin C in every bowl!

Ub Iwerks in the third dimension
@flargy,
The two most common types of 3D glasses are the red/green ones (anaglyph) and polarized.*

Sadly, they are both dead and there's nothing I can do to help.

*There are a few other, less common types.
