After which Pierre tied a fake noose and fake hung himself to express the eternal oppression of all mimekind.

Is there anything creepier than a mime? I think not.

oh come now, if this is in fact a senior picture this person deserves ridiculous amounts of kudos for having the balls to dress like a mime! cheers to them, wherever they are!

The day I can boast a find like this will be the happiest day of my life. If it was done as a joke I want to meet this person! Perfect.

And if it was done seriously?! A headshot? Like, have dozens of these been sent to carnival owners and variety show proprietors? Or was the photo sent to family upon the mime's graduation from mime school? Any scenario is my favorite.

Nice how the hands don't even seem to match up just right. Maybe Mimey is in a bubble or a giant bag?

Jersey in anywhere but here
Looks like a dance recital picture to me. The girl (?) seems kind of young to be a high school graduate. I have seen enough of these type of really bad dance costumes to last a lifetime. The pink bow is especially lame - thanks for mentioning it earlier. I could not figure out what was wrong with this mime outfit until I realized that the costume was not the traditional black & white. Probably each girl in the dance had a different color bow that would highlight them as individuals! How is that for variety?

Is the hand on the left even hers? It is a totally different shade of white. Maybe it belongs to a second creepy mime standing out of camera range!

I think you're on to something. The right hand looks photoshopped!

the right hand is giving the "live long and prosper" sign. i do not think it is photoshopped though, maybe it got water on it. it was in a parking lot after all.

We used to have a real problem around here until we got the exterminator to come in once a month to spray for mimes...

the left hand is whiter because of the lighting, its definitly not photoshopped. the right hand is just in a shadow. the lights obviously coming from the left (or the mime's right, whichever you prefer)

At first I thought wow, that is a creepy shot, but I think the finder is spot-on at this being a senior picture. FREAKY. Sometimes people put senior pictures in yearbooks that are meant to be tounge-in-cheek. This? I think she was dead-serious about her mime-ing (sp?). Which makes this picture somehow sad and desperate. I hope she made it in her career!!

This can't be a senior pic!! I would hope not! It must be one of those performing arts one...you know, the kind ballet dancers have...or kids who get 1st communion........?

have you ever seen less joy in someone's face? this poor girl has been forced to take these ridiculous mime lessons for years! and now Mommy Dearest makes her take her senior pic in this ridiculous outfit instead of her favorite pink polo shirt from The Gap. it's no wonder she's in therapy three days a week!

Taking comments about mimes seriously in internet land.
People who claim mimes and/or clowns are "creepy" or "scary" annoy me. What's so "scary" about a regular person with face paint and silly clothes? Honestly, give me ONE valid reason.

The mail man's a regular guy. You're not scared of the mail man, are you? If the mail man put on mime or clown makeup, would he be scary then? It makes NO sense, unless you're a CHILD.

I guess if you need to call me an asshole, so be it, but I don't believe anyone really has a mime/clown fear. I'm sick to death of "omg clowns r SOOO scary!! evil!111ONEONE1"

Like a picture of a mime on the internet is so horrifying and life threatening to you. Nothing "scary" or "creepy" about this. Get a grip and grow the hell up.

And yeah, I know clowns weren't mentioned here, but the same people who bitch about mimes, bitch about clowns.

I happen to love this picture. It's the best one I've seen here. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to apply for a job at the Mime and Clown Defense League of America.
