Dear God
FOUND by Andrea Leonard in Gilmer, Texas
Found this on the ground when I was leaving a weekend camp for kids. I thought it was great that this little guy a) thought to pray for his brother, b) that he thought to write it down, and c) monsters are still the scariest thing in his world.. I'm not a hardcore believer of any kind, but this is pretty adorable. I stuck it in my journal.

aww :) thats a smile worthy note but stronger forces must be used in order to defeat such powerful forces!

Maybe I don't remember what it's like to be a kid, but it seems to me that there's something more going on here. Maybe it's not the monsters in the kid's head that he wants God to help with, but the monsters in his brother's head. It just seems to fit to me.

@ Josh in Ann Arbor, I was thinking the same thing - that there's more there. But I hope it's just shadows in the corner and not anything more, I wish I could go back to those days.

He should have capitalized the "g". God gets kind of touchy about things like that.
