We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
"Vanish like a bud in the carpet" That's a good line.
what a terrible poet, but I'll have to remember that bud in the carpet line!
I can hear your scent??!?!?
I'm thinking that's written by a girl. Note the girly handwriting and the "What is it about boys?"
wherefore means why...it doesn't mean where ... i really wish people would learn the meaning of words before using them...
I'm thinkin' this stoner was bored in English class. Maybe it's advanced placement Shakespeare?
lol, this looks like my handwritting, but it isnt me.
"Wherefore art thou Romeo" means "Why are you Romeo"??? I don't think so, A.
It does mean "Why are you Romeo." Juliet has fallen in love with a Montegue, her family's biggest rival. It's angsty like, "Oh, why are you part of THAT family? Why can't you have some other name and then we could date in public and skip the whole killing ourselves for love thing?"
-Shakespeare Freak
Wherefore are we arguing? Who really giveth a rat's ass?
-Shakespeare Disliker
I mean, I don't really care, but you have to expect that if somebody comes on a board and claims that a word in one of Shakespeare's most famous passages means something it doesn't, then someone will want to correct her. It's only human.
And BLAMMO! I vanish like a bud in the carpet!
Who knew!!!? wherefore does mean 'why'! Americans and Brits ARE separated by a common language!
or you can say BLAMMO!you vanish like a rock on the south side.lol
Nevermind the wherefores, is (s)he addressing someone named Clue...?
Was I absent when this chapter was taught?
