I found this love letter laying on the sidewalk, face up, staring at me as I walked by. I wish I knew how to get it to it's rightful owner - it probably fell out of someone's door.

At first I thought this was written to a pet. If not for the write and call back part, it could be.

Is Princess at summer camp? In prison? On summer break and back at her parents' house? Trapped in a sorority initiation weekend? In the Marine Corps boot camp? Locked down in a re-hab facility?

I thought the writer was reminding this person to breathe because they were locked up somewhere.
Rehab is my guess.
I think this was written by a girl to another girl. Don't really know why.
Def rehab. "I will get my shit together" would suggest that the author has a little problem as well. Although kind of sad, it doesn't diminish how sweet the sentiment is.
Written by prisoner to girl with low self-esteem, buttering her up for him to take advantange of her in oh so many ways. Hope she tossed this or never saw it.

It starts out ok, but somewhere in the middle it turns kinda creepy and stalkerish, right about where it says that "already you are in my dreams". I get the vibe that they haven't known each other long, and now he's (she's?) dreaming about the intended recipient?
For me that would be time to run, run far, far away, and never look back becuase he'll (she'll) be breathing down your neck.

I also think this is from a prisoner to a girl 'on the outside' whose parents may not (I hope!) allow her to write.
I think it's the "Call and I'll write" line.
It's weird how the handwriting changes at the end...
The governor of South Carolina should know better than to leave a paper trail.
"Breath" is obviously this person's pet name. "Remember to [call or write], Breath, and write if they let you! Try stretching exercises, Breath!"

Umm, about "call and I'll write"...
Prisoners can call you when they are allowed phone time. You cannot call a prisoner. Therefore, the letter must be to an inmate. So, it sounds like Princess got locked up for something short-term, and this dude was wanting to make her feel better about it by saying he'd be awaiting her eventual release.
Nice job with the sexism on assuming the "inmate" was male, though.
This so creeps me out.

@terrie-is-so-very i totally agree. there's just something about the wording that seems very feminine.
maybe her princess is at some horrible gay-be-gone camp like in 'but i'm a cheerleader!' hopefully the ending will be as happy as that movie's ending.
