El Chupacabras
FOUND by Pete in Hayes and Franklin, San Francisco, CA
I saw this propped against a tree on the sidewalk and did a double take at the word Chupacabras. Looking at it later I feel like there's probably a sad story behind it.
Turnip in Birka
FOUND publishes this on the day after Jaycee Dugard, the girl / woman missing for 18 years, turns up in San Francisco? Spooky!

I immediately thought of the old 1940's radio play, "The Garden of the Moon." In that play, aliens were sent to fatten humans to feed the people living on the moon. I guess you could call that "human services" too. They were certainly stealing people.

What I want to know is, how does big money from laboratories equate with child molesters.
Isn't the Chupacabra a vampire bat?

Chupacabra...sucks the blood of animals, I think, but it is not a bat.

Turnip, I was thinking the same.

Confused
I dont get it. Is this person warning against Joseph, the Chupacabra of the neighbourhood who steals your kids? Or is Joseph a crusader and human resource worker who steals from the rich (child molesters) and gives to the poor? Is this poster announcing that he/she is paying protection to Joseph, aka. ringleader of the Chupacabras? Maybe my brain is not functioning properly today...

Confused, it's not just you. I don't even know what this is trying to say to make comical remarks about it. I think this is warning against Joseph, but then again it's so poorly written it's hard to know.

I miss San Francisco.

I think the author of this find is warning against Joseph and possibly offering his services to protect you and your children, but I'm not sure.

According to the Oaxacans I work with, the literal translation of Chupacabras is "goat sucker" I know this because that is my affectionate(?...) nick name. Those guys love me.

Yeah, but can you trust someone who writes this to take care of 'watch over' your children.. If you call that place, they probably say "yes we watch your children to make sure they are safe, now drop them off at the back of our house near the basement" muahahaha *rubs untrustworthy hands together* Excellent!!!

Did you lose your job, ahve children and are without money? Well Joseph from human resources can help.
Joseph has contacts with sponsors, laboratories and rich child molesters.
Joseph will be happy to "steal" your kids and offer you money and support in return.
Don't just think of the money you'll make but how much less of a burden your life will be with no kids.
Call Joseph at Chupacabra pays protection today and we'll make sure your kids are "Stolen" tonight.

Or atleast that how I read it....

Sounds like Child Protective Services removed a child from someone's home, and the parents didn't completely understand what was going on.

Then again, maybe they did. :(

sometimes completely inappropriate is highly enterta in ing.

Is Joseph Joseph Jackson, umm. Michael's dad? Might 'splain a lot. At least he wouldn't have had to go far to find a buyer.

The Chupacabras (literally "goat sucker") is a mythical demon, similar to a vampire, that stalks the night and sucks the blood of livestock. The Chupacabras has also been said to claim small children. The myth of the Chupacabras generally originated in Mexico and other parts of Central America.

he sells them to laboratories and rich child molesters for big money and he pays for protection so he's hard to find or convict... he's the marion barry of child thieves.

Does Joseph sell the kids he steals to the laboratories to make Interferon? I remember a weird conspiracy theory that basically said the CIA was snatching little black kids off the streets to use (somehow) to make Interferon, a cancer drug so expensive it would only be offered to rich white people. I have no idea if said Interferon actually existed, but it was a popular conspiracy theory back in the day.
