BLAH!
FOUND by Sara Thiessen in Oklahoma City, OK
I found this on the ground outside PC North High School where I just finished student teaching. The ugly little fat cat is on the back of a worksheet about Nixon's Cold War Strategies.
planning my escape in in my head
this drawing looks like it started out as a pic of a toilet, then altered to become this odd looking cat.

Just me in my house
That cat has the head of a horse and the body of a dinner plate. Poor thing can't meow properly either!

baby basil in the herb garden
Looks like one of those futuristic animals where Evolution does a u-turn and gets caught in oncoming traffic. Face of a badger, ears of a fox, Thalidomide arms and legs, and body of a toilet! (Or is it a donut cat?)

I had a cat who couldn't miaow either. He made a noise rather like "Ah-ah-ah". But then he was a rescue, maybe his voicebox was literally broken.

Maddy is a L7
ah what we have here folks is the wild toilet cat. thought to be related to the now extinct plunger lion, the toilet cat can be seen at times in 3rd world countries where modern day plumbing is scarce.

Mom Interrupted in my red riding hood.
I thought this was a wolf. An apathetic wolf- probably a teen wolf.

@baby basil: I bet the cat got his tongue. (Sorry.)

Why assume it's a cat? It actually reminds me a little of Nixon. "I am not a crook. Blah!"

It's a vampire cat. Note the Bella Lugosi haircut.

haha, now all I can see is Nixon! The shaded triangle down the middle of it's face is a perfect Nixon widow's peak. Cute little grumpy Nixon kitty!

You don't often see donuts with heads and tails. Not in Oklahoma, anyway.

@ Baby Basil: My cat was a rescue cat who'd had respiratory disease and nearly died. She's never been able to meow properly—she just squeaks "eh."

@ Lost in Space: Exactly what I thought when I read it was on the back of a worksheet on Nixon's cold war strategies. You literally took the words out of my mouth.

Weird. I can totally see a snake coming out between the legs.

Or it is a very large tadpole, with a head and paws (anything can happen when toxic waste is dumped into ponds).

@curious in vestigator ... a "rescue cat" as in the kind of cat that crawls into burning buildings and drags people to safety? Goes into mines and leads the trapped miners to the exit? Swims out into flooded rivers and directs the helicopters to the cars with people inside? THAT is SO COOL! I want to get me one of them cats.

YAY, my find got posted!!!!

@ Librarian: Although it would definitely be awesome if my cat did all that, she is tiny and timid and I don't know if her "eh"s would wake anyone up. My rescue cat lived in a barn in Ohio, didn't get much to eat, and had bad experiences with humans.

John Bender in the Library on a Saturday
Turnip (and Trish)- we have not seen this Find before. (You'll just have to trust me on this.) I have a sneaking suspicion that the two Finds ended up with the same file name, so when this, the second one with the same name was posted, the image somehow superseded the image over there on Find 2266. It's happened before when two Finds had the same name.

If you read the comments at Find 2266 from Jan 9, 2008, it's glaringly apparent that they do not, in any way, relate to a drawing of a funky kitty.

Screws fall out all the time. The world's an imperfect place.

@ John Bender: That is EXACTLY what I would say... glad someone else saw it too. If you read the comments, it sounds like the Find was a paper with the word "Blah" written over and over. There was a computer-related problem because they had different names. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

bored in the clubhouse. watching the clock
Perhaps in this instance, BLAH does not refer to boredom, but to the sound that accompanies the coughing up of a narrrsty hairball. Or yesterday's lunch.
