We collect FOUND stuff: love letters, birthday cards, kids' homework,
to-do lists, ticket stubs, poetry on napkins, telephone bills, doodles -
anything that gives a glimpse into someone
else's life. Anything goes...
I'm not sure I see what's sad about this picture. She seems to be watching something. Resigned to a somewhat dull afternoon with the tall person taking the picture. Just passing time, in bare feet. I'd love to spend an afternoon like that.
Scarlet Letter
I love this pic. It's one of my favorite finds.
I like this photo. It's eerily beautiful somewhat philosophical. My first thought was that she looks sort of like a ghost. Looking deeper, it seems so appropriate to life in general. I hope the path she's on stays smooth and beautiful.
I just want to tell her to press on, and that it will all be ok. I wish someone had told me that.
how beautiful.
This picture is absolutely heartbreaking. For me, it's the bench that really saddens me about this picture. It seems that, even with one parent taking the picture, there would still be one sitting there keeping an eye out, making sure their daughter didn't get hurt.
idyllic.
This picture is very beautiful and serene
this is perhaps the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in my life.
i want to be this little girl...
I think the sad you see in it is kind of a wistful feeling, you know? what a great picture; it looks almost staged, but i don't really think it is.
I like to think that the photographer saw the beauty in this little girl's moment of contemplation.
This is a beautiful picture! I would love to blow it up and hang it on my wall...just to look at it whenever I feel overwhelmed. I think it has a very calming effect and can fit your mood whatever it is.
It's very surprising that no one saw the other kid in the photo... more like a little boy wearing a yellow shirt and blue jeans... admiring the little girl... Beautiful picture..
WOW!!! This is so amazingly beautiful. I really can't say anything else. Thank you Laura for this find.
it just makes me think of alice in wonderland. How far does the rabbit hole go?
All of the beautiful green first attracted me to this picture. Then looking at the little girl made me apprehensive, like some one or some thing had lured her from the bench. Then the mention of the other person in the background; had to take another look. Now, the person lurking in the trees scares me and I'm frightened for the little girl. Hope she's safe and happy and warm.
Beautiful.
Absolutely.
She is Dorothy on the yellow brick road. While she is cautious, her couriousity and courage move her along. Soon she will meet up with an intriguing character, take a chance and make a friend. Because they are together, they will become so brave, they will push on to incredible adventure.
something about this photo frightens me.
I find this a little sad beause I cannot see if the little girl is in reflection or sad. I just hope she was and still is happy :-)
Whatever you do, DON'T follow her. It's a trick! She is a shape-changer and she'll eat your soul to fuel her own immortality. If you knew what she REALLY looks like ..... RUN!
I'm calling Sam and Dean.
Does it look like she's standing in a graveyard,or is it just me? I also think the other figure is someone she knows and is watching.
I would love to walk down this path.
I did some concept art for a production of Alice in Wonderland and one of my drawings looks exactly like this.
